What AstraMedia Is Working On

Now.

A short, honest status of what AstraMedia is building right now. Updated September 2026.

Current focus

AstraMedia is an AI-powered media visibility platform: the system finds relevant media opportunities, writes journalist-ready pitches, matches them to the right contacts, and sends outreach automatically — with every message under the user's control.

Right now the focus is depth over breadth: making the pitch-writing and opportunity-matching experience genuinely great for founders, experts, creators and service providers, and making it easy for anyone to start without a credit card. That means fewer, better features — sharper story-to-angle suggestions, more relevant journalist and outlet matching, and outreach that reads like it was written by a person who knows the recipient.

Recent milestones

  • Free-trial launch without a credit card — new users can start outreach immediately.
  • LLM discoverability and evidence layer: llms.txt, sitemap, structured data and entity pages so the platform is easy for AI assistants and search engines to understand.
  • Responsible AI, security & data, and privacy documentation published publicly.
  • Open Media Outreach Benchmark Methodology published — the definitions and reporting basis behind how outreach performance is evaluated.

What's next

A stronger online presence and more ways for founders and experts to be found — including this /now page, more directory visibility, and continuing product improvements to matching, drafting and outreach.

Concretely, the next few weeks are about two things. First, making the pitch-drafting and media-matching experience better: sharper angle suggestions, more relevant opportunity matching, and cleaner review-and-approve workflows so users feel confident. Second, improving discoverability: better-structured public pages, fresh benchmark and evidence content, and more places where founders, experts, creators and service providers can be found by the media and by the people who want to feature them.

This is a /now page — the format popularized by Derek Sivers to answer "what are you doing right now?"
